Heroes Track Club, the premier track and field club in Pittsburgh for youth, open, and masters track athletes, had a wonderful showing at the USATF Lake Erie/Three Rivers Masters Championships.
Sprinter Taaj Barnett won the 100m 25-29 division at 11.72; one of his fastest runs in his summer campaign. He was able to back that win up with another win in the 25-29 division in the 200-meters, with a time of 24.12, the second fastest 200m of the meet.
Mid-Distance Runner David DeCarlucci ran a personal record at the meet in the 400m 45-49 division, running 58.67 and winning that division.
